Why We Fly

Ministry takes people places - often to places that are hard to reach. A pastor needing rest. A missionary team needing logistics support. A ministry leader with a narrow window to get somewhere that matters. We connect general aviation pilots who want to use their skills and aircraft for Kingdom purposes with the people and ministries who need a lift.

Stories of Impact

A Same-Day Round Trip to Preach the Gospel

A seminary student pastoring in Birmingham was invited to preach at an event in Atlanta, but he needed to be back in class the following morning. Driving would have meant giving up either the event or his classwork, so FTGC mobilized a volunteer pilot to fly him from Birmingham to Atlanta, wait through the event, and fly him home again the same night. He was back home and resting that evening, ready for class the next day. Without general aviation, he likely would have had to turn down the opportunity to preach.

Rest and Renewal for a Young Pastor's Family

Ministry gives so much to others that rest can be hard to come by. FTGC partnered with a family who generously offered their vacation home in Florida, and coordinated flight logistics to get a young pastor and his family there for a free getaway they otherwise couldn't have afforded. It was a small way to care for a family that spends every day caring for others, and a reminder that furthering Kingdom work includes caring for the people who do it.
